Madeira Vintage Embroidery shirt with Swallow Medium

This is a really stunning shirt made from a fine, soft vintage linen with beautiful Madeira embroidery and cutwork.   I was able to keep the scalloped edge for the bottom of the shirt and the sleeves.  The fastening is buttons covered in the same vintage linen.  Plus a white hook and eye at the collar.

Care Instructions

I recommend you hand wash your shirt in warm water with gentle laundry detergent.  DO NOT tumble dry as this can damage the gorgeous embroidery.  New stains can be spot washed with stain remover, warm water and dabbed with a clean cloth, then hand washed as soon as possible.  Always check your stain remover is suitable for linen/cotton and spot test in a hidden area if possible.
