Cape Daisies and Green Garlands Shirt Large

This completely unique shirt is created from a beautiful vintage tablecloth with a design based on pink and purple Cape Daisies (Osteospermum) and a sweeping green leaf pattern garland, interspersed with a blue and yellow flower garland.   With sleeves finishing just below the elbow, this shirt is designed to be worn over a t-shirt or camisole creating a layered look or on it's own using the buttons. Created with self-covered linen buttons which are fastened with a soft elastic loop.  The buttons and loops are placed along the front edges without an overlap so as not to interrupt the symmetry of the beautiful embroidery.   This is a substantial linen, which is every so slightly off-white.  The shirt should sit around or just below the top of the hips.

Care Instructions

I recommend you hand wash your shirt in warm water with gentle laundry detergent.  DO NOT tumble dry as this can damage the gorgeous embroidery.  New stains can be spot washed with stain remover, warm water and dabbed with a clean cloth, then hand washed as soon as possible.  Always check your stain remover is suitable for linen/cotton and spot test in a hidden area if possible.
