Crinoline Ladies Waistcoat - Large

The Crinoline Ladies embroidery pattern was very popular during the 1930s and 1940s.  I've used this smaller tablecloth to create a waistcoat, joining panels to use as much of the tablecloth as possible.  You may notice a little bee on one of the back panels.   There was a small stain there that wouldn't come out, so I embroidered a little bee over it.  There is a single, covered button fastening to the front and contrast binding inside the arm openings and neck line.

Care Instructions

I recommend you hand wash your shirt in warm water with gentle laundry detergent.  DO NOT tumble dry as this can damage the gorgeous embroidery.  New stains can be spot washed with stain remover, warm water and dabbed with a clean cloth, then hand washed as soon as possible.  Always check your stain remover is suitable for linen/cotton and spot test in a hidden area if possible.
